N.S.S. Activities

Every year the college organizes the following activities through NSS. Some activities are day-specific. Following ‘days’ are celebrated by conducting various programs

    • ‘Yog’ awareness for health of students
    • Cash less society ‘Street Play’
    • Deputation of volunteers to various camps
    • Inauguration of Department Activities by the hands of dignatories

    • Helping in National Election Activities
    • Arranging Poster Exhebition & lecture of Superstation and addicon
    • Deputing students to Avahan Camp’

Other Activities of NSS

  • Orientation Program for fresher.
  • Blood Donation Camps (in collaboration with Blood Bank and Other NGOs)
  • Tree Plantation / Vriksha  Dindi (A rally for creating awareness about environment protection )
  • Cleanliness  Campaign (College campus ,adopted villages , temples and  other  historical monuments)
  • Raksha bandhan at slum areas and leprosy colony.
  • Seminars / poster presentation and rally on environmental protection
  • Seminar on Value Education
  • Participation in pulse polio program  in Ichalkaranji town & at adopted villages/area.
  • Courtesy lectures/ poster presentations and slide shows on elimination of superstitions.
  • Street shows on AIDS awareness, illiteracy problems superstitions
  • Video show on environment protection (Named “Beautiful People”)
  • Poster presentation on personality development (In association with Indian Red Cross Society)
  • Lecture on Nirbhaya Pathak by Police Officer.

Programes on Special Occasions

  • Food collection and distribution to flood or draught  affected  people of neighborhood villages or Districts.
  • Financial help to flood affected people if any.
  • Participation in Traffic Safety Week Program arranged by City Traffic Police.
  • Cleanliness campaign in flood affected area
  • Participation in Nirmalya (i.e. offerings to lord Ganesha) collection. This program  is organized by Nagarpalika and some NGOs in the town to protect river from pollution. Our students participated in it.
  • Financial help for Tsunami-affects if any.
