Shri Venkatesh Mahavidyalaya, Ichalkaranji
Shri N. B. Education Society founded its Senior college, Shri VenkateshMahavidyalaya, Ichalkaranji in June, 1983, to help students of the vicinity to enter into the mainstream of higher education, particularly in the stream of commerce.
The college is affiliated to ShivajiUniversity, Kolhapur. It is ISO: 9001:2015 certified institution. It is a co-education college that offers both UG and PG programmes. The college runs Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Commerce IT(Entire) and Master of Commerce in Accountancy Programmes. For B.com programme the college offers three electives for the specialization such as 1) Financial Accounting, 2) Industrial Management and 3) Business statistics.
The B.com Degree programme with 3 Divisions at Part I & II and 2 divisions at part III is functioning as an aided section and 1 division of each class of B. ComDegree Proramme as well as of BBA, B.Com IT and M.com are conducted under unaided section.
Along with the basic curriculum collage offers skill-based and employability enriching short term courses. The collage has adequate Computer Laboratory and the specious Library for the academic development of the students. Sports, Cultural and N.S.S. Departments are the focal points of the college.
The C.C.T.V. surveillance, Discipline Committee and the guidelines for the campus Management are the major means employed to make the campus safe and secure for the students to learn comfortably. The collage strictly observes and is abided with the guidelines of Anti-Ragging and Internal Complaint Committee. The statutory committees as per the guidelines of Shivaji University Kolhapur are formed to look into these matter judiciously.
